Baan Sunshine is designed in architecturally contemporary style built on an elevated position facing the breathtaking views over Big Buddha bay, the neighboring islands and spectacular sunsets. The villa entered on the first floor up a flight of steps from the parking area and opens into the amazing living dining room. If the villa looked impressive on the outside it is even more so on the inside with its large white floor and open plan areas. The Glass sliding walls allow the sea breeze to flow through the house and frame the stunning uninterrupted ocean view beyond. The light and airy room is furnished with elegant contemporary style furniture and décor consisting of a comfortable corner sofa suite and coffee table in the lounge area and a dining table seating 8 persons facing the view. For your entertainment there is a 42” plasma TV home theatre system with satellite channels system, DVD, Ipod station, PS II. The state-of-the art fitted kitchen is fully equipped and separated by a breakfast bar and stools from the dining area. A bathroom is accessible both through the kitchen and from the pool deck. An alcove at the other end of the room provides for a study room furnished with a desk and chair and also a day bed. WIFI internet access is also available.
The living dining room opens on to the spacious sand-wash pool deck where endless time will be spent. There are a row of palms in pots along the far side to give more privacy. Quality teak cushioned sun loungers, umbrellas and patio table (seat 8 persons) and chairs, ottomans which are available for your relaxation. Spectacular views over Big Buddha Bay and not forgetting the amazing sunsets form the perfect backdrop for the 10m x 5m infinity edge pool and corner Jacuzzi
An open staircase to the rear of the living room leads up to the second floor, with the adjacent glass wall extending across the two floors. A gallery corridor interconnects the three air conditioned bedrooms. An external stairway leads to the spectacular 90sqm roof terrace, which include a seating area, dining area, bar and BBQ with stunning view of Big Buddha bay to the northwest and Chaweng bay to the southeast.
All 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor have TV, DVD player and sliding glass doors on to a balcony with ocean views. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third having twin beds. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate rain shower positioned so that you can bathe whist taking in the ocean views. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a large shower. A fourth double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located on the floor below the living room. The laundry room with washing machine is also located on this level.
All the windows and sliding doors in the villa are double glazed, with white louver blinds, allowing effective climate control.
Due to the open plan staircase and the drop from the pool, small children need to be watched closely.
The villa sleeps up to 6 persons in 3 bedrooms. The 4th bed room is available at US$75/night up to 2 person.A daily maid cleaning service is included in the cost of the rental as with airport transfer.
LocationThe villa is located within walking distance of Big Buddha beach and Big Buddha Temple with a variety of restaurants and shops. 5 min drive from Samui Airport, Bang Rak and Choeng Mon beach.The villa is also less than 10 minutes drive from the lively bars, restaurants and shops of Chaweng and the quaint “Old Fisherman's Village” with it's quality ocean side restaurants and boutique shops. It is around 20 min drive from Santiburi Golf and Country Club.
